After thorough research into the living spaces of those affected by the Dust Bowl, this project portrays how a set depicting an Oklahoma kitchen in the 1940's would be appropriately decorated.

The family of this house consists of a Mother, Father, and one young child. They are low-income with much of their furnishings being hand me downs from previous generations.
